My core belief is that a positive approach to training should be part of the foundation and maintenance of every dog’s education. Positive reinforcement produces not just the best results in training but also secures and strengthens the bond between you and your dog. I believe in setting your dog up for success by learning how to shape your dog’s behavior and rewarding the desired result. I will teach you to speak to your dog in a language they understand, and how to read the signals your dog is sending you in order to avoid undesired behaviors before they manifest and become an unwanted habit.

In addition to training as well as preventing and resolving behavioral problems with your dog, I will also help you to attain the ability of understanding and communicating with your dog.  My mission is to provide your dog with the skills to be a fun and loving member of your family. Because your dog is a part of your pack, all family members are encouraged to attend the training sessions and to participate fully. It is strongly recommended that you book your consultation at a time when all the adults in your household can attend. A tremendous amount of philosophy about dog behavior is covered in the initial consultation; if only one spouse or partner attends, the material will need to be repeated at the first training session. Children are encouraged to join in during the subsequent training sessions.
